It happened by accident. I didn’t plan on becoming a professional photographer. But, I believe some of the best things in life are unplanned.

I earned my Ph.D in health policy and spent 5 years in the corporate world doing health care research. Little did I know how much my life would change when I photographed a friend’s wedding in 2008. After that wedding, my passion for photography was quickly noticed by other couples and families, and I quickly realized that I was being called to do what I was meant to do.

Photography has been my full-time career for the past 16 years, and I am so thankful every day that I get to make a living doing what I love. As a mom of 2 daughters who are growing up WAY too fast, I know how important it is to document fleeting moments, and I’d be honored to be the one who helps you accomplish that!

I have photographed over 500 weddings locally and internationally, thousands of families, and hundreds of high school seniors and businesses. I have been published in several magazines (and a few covers!) and on many noteworthy blogs. Whew, I got that part over with. Please reach out - I'd love to hear more about YOU and how I can help you capture memories, grow your business or learn about photography!
